Meet the Maker

Honey Lula Designs sprouted in 2018, about a year after Marney bravely quit her corporate retail career of 10 years to pursue her dream of teaching Yoga. Marney is the Owner & Creator behind HLD. Yoga isn’t something she “does” it is a way of life. She is a devoted meditator and this jewelry making gig all started when she made her first gemstone Mala. A Mala is a sacred tool that can be used when meditating. Her friends & family quickly started to notice the Malas she was making & many commissioned her to create their very own special Mala.

As a graduate from The Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising (FIDM), Marney has harnessed her degree, 10 years of Visual Merchandising career, love of fashion, & creativity into all of her designs.
HLD has evolved into an eclectic assortment of custom jewelry created with love and intention for any babes lifestyle.
The name ‘Honey’ comes from her mother who passed away in early 2020. She battled Alzheimers for nearly 10 years. Honey was the glue to her family and people all around her. She was the ‘Can do girl’ who did whatever it took to bring a smile to everyone around her.  She hopes to honor her sweet mama, by following her passion of creating special pieces that bring joy to those around her.
When Marney isn’t a busy bee crafting jewelry, she is teaching yoga, practicing yoga, enjoying the outdoors, searching for the best mocktails in town, & spending time with family & loved ones.
We are SO happy you’re here & we can’t wait to connect with you!
